2 weeks old

Maggie had her 2 week appointment on Wednesday. She was back up to a bit more than her birth weight - 6 lbs 5 oz and had already grown an inch! Maggie is a good eater and is a very laid back baby.



Her big sister absolutely loves her. She is always looking for her in the mornings and makes sure that I am paying attention to her. When I drop Grace off at school and pick her up, she always gives Maggie lots of 'sugars. It is very sweet. Grace is adjusting very well to the newest addition- that makes for a happy momma!

And she's here!

Well, after a long 7 1/2 weeks on bed rest- 2 of those in the hospital- Maggie Leigh arrived on March 14 at 9:14 am. She was a planned c-section at 37 weeks. She was an ounce smaller than Grace, 6 lbs 4 oz and was the same length. 18.5 inches.
She spent most of the day in the nursery being monitored because of some noises she was making when she was breathing. Around 3 pm big sister finally got to meet her! And Grace's response was "we'll keep her"!
